ILOF Quiz - Questions & Answers
What time does the quiz start and finish?
Doors will open at 7pm for pizza, the quiz will start at 8pm and we expect the evening to finish at approx. 10.30pm
How big are the teams?
A maximum of 8 people can make up each team
Do I need to create my own team or can I join an existing one?
You can do either – organise a team in advance or join a table on the night
How many people / tables will there be?
We are selling a total of 160 tickets – this equates to 20 teams. There will also be a teachers team.
When can I buy tickets?
Tickets will be on sale online w/c 23rd January
What is included in the ticket cost?
The ticket includes entry to the quiz and at least x2 slices of pizza (vegan and gluten free options)
£12 is a bit steep – why are you charging so much?
The school is loaning us the hall for free and all involved in the quiz are volunteers. The cost of the ticket covers the cost of the food and allows us to help raise much needed funds for ILOF
How much are the Prize tickets?
We are selling prize tickets for £5 online or on the night of the quiz
What are the prizes?
There will be three winning prizes, to be finalised.
Will there be food on the night?
Yes – a team of volunteers will be serving pizzas made by local pizza companies
What time will we eat?
Food will be served from 7.00pm
What about dietary requirements?
You can request gluten free or vegan option when you buy your ticket. There will be vegetarian options on the evening. Unfortunately we are unable to cater for any other dietary requirements
Is alcohol being served?
Yes – there will be a paid bar selling white and red wine, beer, non-alcoholic beer and soft drinks.
Can we bring our own alcohol with us?
No – all drinks served must be bought on the premises on the night
How do I pay for drinks on the night?
The bar will be accepting payment by card only on the night.
What time does the quiz finish?
The quiz should finish by 10.30pm – we suggest if booking babysitters, ask them to stay till 11pm to allow for any delays
Are children allowed into the quiz?
Unfortunately only babes in arms / breastfed babies will be allowed in the quiz – this is to ensure we can sell the most tickets, make the most money for the school and comply with health and safety regulations.
