Your Contribution Matters
What Ivydale League of Friends has achieved over the years wouldn’t be possible without the funding we receive from our community. We always appreciate the generosity and involvement of people like you, with every contribution going towards making ILOF even more impactful than it already is. Be a part of our supportive community by donating whatever you can.
Fundraising through Events
Donate via the Givey platform
Our favourite way of fundraising is by running events such as our school discos, Readathon, Fun Run and Summer Fair.
In running these events, we aim to promote a friendly and inclusive community for everyone at Ivydale, as well as opening up the school to the wider local community.
ILOF leverages the Givey platform for this kind of fundraising and we encourage members of the school community to leverage Givey for their own sponsorship pages
School-led parent donation scheme
Donating via raisley.com
If you are a basic rate taxpayer, or you are not able to take advantage of payroll giving (see below) then this is likely to be the best option.
Why not make a regular or one-off donation using this simple embedded form? If you select the relevant option then we will also be able to claim an additional 25% via Gift Aid.If your employer supports it, you can also contribute to the school-led parent donation scheme via one of the corporate giving schemes highlighted below. If you are a higher rate tax payer, such schemes will allow you to make your contribution go further
Corporate giving schemes
Payroll giving, employee matching, and more. Check with your employer to find out about the schemes that they operate
Payroll Giving
Most effective for higher rate tax payers
If you are a higher rate tax payer, this is the most effective way to donate regularly as the donation will be deducted from payroll before tax (40% benefit). To set this up you will need information about your nominated charity. Please contact ILOF via ilofteam@gmail.com
Employee matching fund
Match financial contribution
If your employer supports this, and Ivydale League of Friends is eligible, we would be very grateful if you leveraged a matching fund. Some employers match pound for pound. Combining payroll giving and a matching fund provides an even better outcome. For example, for an eligible higher rate tax earner, giving £25 before tax results in £50 going to charity, and would show up as a £15 reduction in your “after tax” pay.
Employee matching fund
Match TIME contributed with an hourly rate donated by your employer
Some employers will match time contributed to working for a charity with an hourly rate up to an annual maximum. We love schemes like this because they mean that your time and effort is recognised with a financial contribution from your employer without costing you anything.
If your employer offers this kind of scheme then we'd be very happy to help you take advantage of it.
Simply fill in in the Volunteer form on this website to let us know how you'd like to contribute your time and expertise!
